How We Really Can Help Palestine

I know I haven't blogged since a few days, not because I was sick or didn't want to, but because I'm so depressed and worried about the horrors that the people in Gaza have been facing since Saturday that it's so hard for me to think of anything to blogg about. Though my other blogosphere sister's have written alot about it and so my words would just be repetiton of what they've already said. The other things I don't feel like blogging about at the moment. Alhamdulillah they have been making alot of dua at the masjid here for them. I also heard that there have been many protest and demonstrations around the world, but I just hope that these would bear some fruit instead of just falling to deaf ears. The only thing interesting I found was a post on Facebook, please read this, which I thought that many people might want to read too.

But I'd like to recommend the post of my fellow blog sisters, Lazeena and Nida , who have written about ways in which we can help our brethren in Gaza.

There's nothing left for me to say here except for the following duas for my brothers and sisters in Gaza.

" O Allah! Help our brothers and Mujahideen everywhere to gain victory over Your enemy and theirs. "

" O Allah! Strike terror to their enemies hearts, shake the earth under their feet and render them and their wealth as booty for Islam and Muslims. "

" O Allah! They are barefooted, naked and hungry. So, dress and feed them; they are poor and need Your compassion. So cast Your mercy on them. O you the Most Compassionate to the poor and Victory Donor to the weak. "

" O Allah! Purge the usurper Jews out of Al-Aqsa Mosque, expel them out submissively humiliated. "

" O Allah! Make victorious Your religion, Your Book (the Qur'an) and the Sunnah of Your Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him). "

" O Allah! You have said, "Call me and I will answer" and here we have called You so hear and answer our call. " Ameen

  5. Asalamualaikum,

You have an interesting set of blogs, keep it up.

I noticed with your al-baik comment you obviously live in the KSA. So i had to ask, whats the general atmosphere there, is it the usual suppressive don't speak out deal because the King will have you locked up? I assume so. But it would be interesting to know how the general population is reacting and whether its felt in public?

[BTW: Al-baik is a LITTLE over-rated, but i wouldn't mind eating some mm]

  6. Islamas: Wa alikum salam,

Jazak Allah Khairan for your comments.

Actually I cannot answer that question properly, according to me things seem to be going normally .... but may be it might be different at the Universities and Islamic institutes .... there yes definetly I can say that ppl do feel outraged ..... but there have been no demonstrations on the street or anything of that sort coz even the Shyookh don't recommend it .... and according to me I don't think the King would be so rude to lock up every one, that's exaggeration I suppose even if some ppl did show it publicly ......

About Al-Baik, well everyone has there own taste ..... of all those that I have tasted I personally found Al-Baik to be the Best in taste, quality, quantity and the ppl arround me and many others have the same opinion too .... and so it's matter of choice .....
